Veteran businessman Ramoji Rao who is the chairman of ETV channels is one of the most influential personalities in Tollywood. He is known for changing according to trends and keep his business flowing smoothly. News is that he is now interested in starting his own OTT platform. The online streaming services have become a major business opportunity and Ramoji Rao is said to be doing some groundwork regarding it.

His ‘Usha Kiran’ banner produced around 80 films. They will only be telecasted on ETV and are not present on any online platform. Apart from that ETV owns a huge bank of old movies which no one can replace. All these films were taken by ETV at very low costs as the satellite rights were not a big thing a few years back. All these films will be more than enough to start an OTT platform.

They can even produce original content through their production house and stream them on their OTT platform and can even telecast them after some time.
