Samantha Helps People Who Are Affected In Hyderabad Rains

South siren Samantha Akkineni is well known for her generous heart. She is a founding member of Pratyusha Foundation, an NGO that provides medical support to underprivileged children and women.

Now, the star actress is moved by the people who have lost their homes and jobs due to the heavy rains in Hyderabad.

Normal life was thrown out of gear as the heavy rains lashed Telangana. The rainfall was unprecedented in and around GHMC and nearly 50 people lost their lives.

As many as 20,540 houses in 122 localities across Hyderabad were flooded in the heavy downpour. Samantha has joined hands with Prathyusha Foundation and Dignity Drive Foundation to help the affected people. The volunteers of this foundation have been preparing food and distributing them to the people and serving them to go through hard situations.
