Is Second Wave Of Coronavirus To Become More Dangerous?


The Covid-19 infections are reportedly increasing with each passing day across the world. All the countries are on alert as the number of positive cases are rising gradually. The intensity of the virus is developing big, especially in European and American countries.

Yesterday alone, 5,70,993 new corona cases were reported worldwide. As many as 8889 coronavirus deaths were reported. It is a matter of concern that 1.60 lakh cases were registered in the United States in a single day yesterday. The US is witnessing a huge surge in the cases since the presidential election. More than a lakh cases are reported every day.

Europe and the Americas are already witnessing a second wave of the disease and several countries have reimposed lockdowns to prevent the spread. The experts warn that the second wave is to become the most dangerous in the coming days.

The global tally of Covid-19 cases stands at 57,889,287. While 40,093,744 have recovered, 1,376,758 have died so far. The US continues to be the worst-hit country with 12,268,678 cases and 260,235 fatalities. It is followed by India with 9,050,613 cases, Brazil (6,020,164), France (2,109,170), Russia (2,039,926) .
