They barely miss a chance in the flick to chuckle us. Even if the gags are old and come out of forwarded SMSes and already relished comedy shows, they still carry that temperament to allow your facial muscles to flex.

Akhil Lokhande, (Akhshay Kumar) is struggling to find some money for his ailing father but he realizes that the person for whom he is working day and night isn’t his real father. In fact he come to know that one of the richest diamond merchants, Pannalal Johri is his biological father but all his happiness and dreams to claim his right from Pannalal are shattered when he comes to know that he is dead and has willed his entire property and wealth to a Dog named Entertainment.

Entertainment is no ordinary dog and can give anyone on earth a run for the money. Akhil and his friend (Krushna Abhishek) plan to assassinate the dog in such a way that it appears to be an accident but they are not alone who have an eye  on this wealth. Pannalal’s brother Karan and Arjun (played by Sonu Sood and Prakash Raj) also want the property but on their radar is Akil since they realize Entertainment’s shelf life in just 12 years. On the other hand, Akhil’s girlfriend Saakshi’s (Tamannaah) father (Mithun Chakraborty) too has a greed for the same. But who will win it?

Sajid-Farhad narrate this chaos with minor twists through Entertainment which we wish could have been more innovative. Since, it’s their traditional beat of comedy and action, Sajid-Farhad’s directorial debut could have been more refined, if they would have deducted  intentional errors of comedy. The concept of a dog  being an heir of massive property is intriguing but is messed up.

For sure directors’ sole purpose is to give audience a good fun time but it fulfills only when its audience is non-adult that could tolerate those cynical jokes. Those jokes and gags, however, have lesser relation with sequences in the flick but it works if not firmly then waveringly.

Cheering up the weary audience by jumping around, cracking cynical jokes, the actors have a velocity which tickles us. The biggest link is none other than the screenplay and the narration, which as expected has its flaws. But actors devote their heart and soul to divert our minds and cheer up the weary audience.

Akshay Kumar takes the lead as a desperate and hungry for wealth being. His chemistry with the dog and the company is crackling while his performance is brilliant.

Krushna Abhishek as Akki’s friend and guide is too funny. It’s his second outing in Bollywood after ‘Bol Bachchcan’ and yet again he grabs the opportunity to deliver a fine act.

Tamannaah Bhatia is shimmering in the flick, gets some frame to show her acting prowess. Her fake chemistry with Sonu Sood and Prakash Raj is quite funny.

Sonu Sood and Prakash Raj too are undoubtedly one of the finest actors and together they are superb.

Johnny Lever as Entertainment’s lawyer in the flick yet again takes his share of applause.

Music by Sachin-Jigar is good. The songs easily gel along with the flow of the flick but none stays in our wits for long.

Entertainment is far from logics but still could be a decent family watch.
