The latest news from Kollywood film circles is all about the biopic of ace Cricketer Muthaiah Muralitharan. It is evident that the Biopic trend has surged up down South post the blockbuster success of great actress Savitri’s Biopic ‘Mahanati’.

On the latest, the movie team of 800 have released a teaser that showed Makkal Selvan just aceing the look of Muralitharan. Vijay Sethupathi just looked perfect as Murali in this ambitious biopic! it’s going to be a pan India film with a big scale production with a great cast and crew. As Murali took 800 wickets in International Cricket, the makers fixed the title ‘800’ for this ambitious biopic!

It is Vijay Sethupathi who tries things differently to give himself the present day image. He perfectly suited the role as he has the same resemblance and body that of Muralitharan. News sources say that the actor is rigorously training in the bowling and wants to ace the body language of the legendary spinner!

It is evident that Muralitharan is treated like a son of the soil in Tamil Nadu. He is also the Son In Law of Tamil Nadu and has also appeared in a film. Muralitharan has acclaimed a bigger fan base in Chennai while he played for CSK in IPL.

The film 800 is directed by MS Sripathy and is produced by Movie Train Motion Pictures and Dar Pictures.
