Malavika Nair Locked For Raghavendra Rao`s Pelli Sandadi

Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao is all set to make the sequel of 1996 blockbuster Pelli Sandadi starring actor Srikanth. Titled ‘Pelli SandaD’, the film stars Srikanth’s son Roshan in the lead role.

If the reports are to be believed, Malayalam beauty Malavika Nair has been roped in as the female lead opposite Roshan. As the character needs to give subtle expressions, the makers roped Malavika as she can do the job effortlessly.

The film is jointly bankrolled by Arka Media Works, Madhavi Kovelamudi and K Krishna Mohan Rao. K Raghavendra Rao will be supervising the direction department, while debutante Gowri Ronanki will be helming the flick. MM Keeravani has been retained as the music director for this sequel. ‘Pelli SandaD’ is expected to go on floors early next year.

This will be the second film for Roshan after 2016 film ‘Nirmala Convent. On the other hand, Malavika Nair featured Yevade Subramanyam, Kalyana Vaibhogame, Mahanati, Vijetha and most recently Orey Bujjiga.
