Rajamouli Turns Emotional At Plasma Donation Awareness Campaign

Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli along with his wife participated in a plasma donation awareness campaign organised by Hyderabad police to urge coronavirus survivors to come forward and donate plasma.

The Baahubali creator and his family recently tested positive with mild symptoms for the Covid-19. After two weeks of quarantine, all of them tested negative.

To this end, Rajamouli gave an emotional speech at an awareness program organized by commissioner Sajjanar.

“I had a misconception about the police that they will only solve the crimes. But after seeing these awareness camps and their hard work in fighting the deadly virus has made me very happy,” said Rajamouli.

“The program was started with one person’s donation and today more than a hundred people can donate plasma per day. Those who donated plasma are real heroes and warriors. We see a lot of heroes on the screen every day, but it is great to see heroes coming from the public,” added Rajamouli.
