Haier launches waterproof phone

Mobile world has something new to feel excited as Haier launches a waterproof phone, Zing which runs on Alibaba’s Aliyun OS. The Chinese gadget maker Haier who is famous for air conditioners, refrigerators, home theatre is about to extend their mobile phone offerings to a new height with the waterproof phone, Zing.

1GHz CPU with this Haier phone offers a comparatively good processing efficiency. The phone features a 4-inch WVGA display with an unknown resolution, most probably 800×480 pixels. You can come across a 5-megapixel rear shooter for taking beautiful snaps. The handset also comes with a 0.3 megapixel front-facing VGA shooter for video chats and also for capturing your own image.

Haier Zing operates on Alibaba’s Aliyun OS which is out recently in the market. It is a cloud based operating system and is absolutely free software which was put forward for use by small scale manufacturers. This has the speciality of running Android apps giving it a colour of joy for the users. This OS makes an interesting web experience for the Haier Zing users as well.

Apart from the water proof nature, this phone also supports dust-proof and also shock-proof capability making it a perfect phone to suit almost all scenarios. This multiple protection features helps you to use this phone in any environmental conditions.

The storage capability as well as data transfer and connectivity options of this phone are not known as of now. The physical dimensions apart from the screen size are also not clear.

Haier Zing can be purchased at an affordable price of around Rs. 8,000/-. The phone will hit the Chinese mobile market in standard black frame. It is expected to reach the mobile shelves by the 15^th of this month. Haier came up with a 7-inch Android tablet HaiPad in 2011 and was not able to make a blow in the tablet world.

They have launched a new phone with protection features to make up the failure faced last year. They are expecting that Haier Zing will surely end up in a success story. The word ‘Zing’ refers to ‘powerful’ in Chinese and they exactly meant the powerful nature of this phone with the label.
