The Micromax Canvas Breeze Tab P660 has made its debut in India as a voice calling tablet that also offers 3G cellular connectivity. The device has been made available at a price of Rs 9990 exclusively through Snapdeal and is being bundled with a couple of freebies.
The Micromax Canvas Breeze Tab P660 is a decent looking option for its retail tag, but it does have more than a few downsides. For starters, the slate is loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which is more than a couple of years old and a huge disappointment especially since even the cheapest of Google-powered devices at least come with KitKat.
Also, Micromax has made no mention of updating the slate to a newer release of the OS. Unlike the recently launched Canvas Tab P666 which has an Intel processor, this one settles for a 1.2GHz quad core chip from MediaTek. On the upside, the device has a pretty slim design of 6.9mm and it packs a 4000mAh battery.
For visuals, a 7.85-inch HD IPS display is employed on the front accompanied by a 2MP camera. A 5MP snapper can be found on the rear sans any LED flash. The Canvas Breeze Tab P660 also has dual SIM support, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and GPS connectivity.
