Palmer files plaint against Infosys again

InfosysBANGALORE: Former Infosys employee and whistleblower Jack Palmer, who previously lost a court case against Infosys, has filed a fresh complaint with the US department of labor against the company and some of its senior executives for alleged wrongful termination, a Wall Street Journal report said on Tuesday.

In his complaint, Palmer alleged that Infosys and eight senior executives denied him work, bonuses and promotions, and terminated him. When TOI contacted Palmer, he said, “Please talk to my lawyer.” This newspaper called his lawyer Mark Griffin’s office in the US, but he was unavailable for a comment.

Infosys sent the following statement: “Palmer’s current department of labor complaint is a repetition of the issues that were tried and dismissed by a federal court in 2012. Palmer resigned in 2013 November and released the company from the claims he has alleged in the complaint. We believe this is without merit and we expect to prevail.”
