No Restrictions On Inter-state & Intra-state Movement

The central government has made it clear that there shall be no restrictions on the Inter-state and Intra-state movement in the wake of Unlock 3.0.

Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla penned a letter to the Chief Secretaries of all the states to lift off the restrictions as the restrictions are creating problems in inter-state movements of goods and services and are impacting the supply chain, resulting in disruption of economic activities and employment.

Such restrictions at local level imposed by the district administration or by the state government, amount to a violation of the guidelines issued by MHA under the provisions of Disaster Management act, 2005. Unlock 3.0 will expire on August 31. The central government has already started drills on what to do after that.
