Lamborghini to roll out supercar Huracan on September 22 in India

Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini is all set to launch the Huracan in India on September 22, 2014 in Mumbai. In other words, the newest raging bull will soon be tearing some roads in India. With Ferrari’s Indian operations under a bit of a crisis and McLaren yet to arrive, Lamborghini is certain to enthrall Indian exotic super-car buyers with its latest product.

The Lamborghini Huracan made its global debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, marking the end of the Gallardo’s legacy. However,  the monstrous V10 heart of the Gallardo has now been put in the Huracan, albeit with power updates. This translates into 609 bhp of power and 560 Nm of peak torque. The Huracan’s engine is mated to a dual clutch gearbox.  0 to 100 kmph is achieved in a mere 3.2 seconds and the supercar pulls all the way up to 325 kmph.

In this particular segment, Lamborghini Huracan’s chief competitors are the Ferrari 458 Italia/Spider and the McLaren 650S Coupe/Spider- none of which are available here yet.
