25 ఏళ్ల వెనక్కు వెళ్లిన రేణు దేశాయ్

సోషల్ మీడియాలో రేణు దేశాయ్ రెగ్యులర్ గా పోస్ట్ లు పెడుతూ ఉంటారు. తన గురించి కొందరు ఎంత బ్యాడ్ గా కామెంట్స్ చేసినా కూడా తన వ్యూస్ ను తనను అభిమానించే వారితో షేర్ చేసుకునేందుకు రేణు దేశాయ్ ఎప్పుడు ఆమె సోషల్ మీడియాలో యాక్టివ్ గా ఉంటారు. నిన్ననే తాను ఆధ్య ట్రంప్ అనే కుక్కతో ఫొటోలకు ఫోజ్ లు ఇచ్చారు. ఆ ఫొటోలను షేర్ చేసి వైరల్ అయిన రేణు దేశాయ్ నేడు పాతికేళ్ల వెనక్కు వెళ్లారు. ఆమె తన 16వ ఏట తీసుకున్న మొదటి ఫొటో షూట్ ను సోషల్ మీడియా ద్వారా షేర్ చేసింది.

9 సెప్టెంబర్ 1995 లో తాను మొదటి సారి కెమెరాను ఫేస్ చేశాను. అప్పటి వరకు నేను ఒక స్పేస్ సైంటిస్ట్ అవ్వాలని కలలు కన్నాను. కాని కొన్ని కారణాల వల్ల 16 ఏళ్ల వయసులోనే ఒక యాడ్ ఫిల్మ్ మేకింగ్ కోసం ఫొటో షూట్ లో పాల్గొనాల్సి వచ్చింది. నాసాలో శాస్త్రవేత్తగా పేరు తెచ్చుకోవాలనుకున్న తాను సినిమాల వైపు వెళ్లిన సమయంలో చాలా బాధ పడ్డాను. సినిమాలపై ఫిల్మ్ మేకింగ్ పై ప్రేమను పెంచుకోవడంతో ఆ బాధ నుండి బయట పడ్డానంది. నాకు స్టార్స్ ను డైరెక్ట్ చేయాలనుంది. అయితే కాస్త విభిన్నంగా చూపించాలనుకుంటున్నాను అంది.

. 9th September, 1995. It’s been 25yrs since I first faced the camera. I wanted to either be a space scientist or a neurosurgeon since childhood and my mark sheets supported my wishes. But, I guess destiny had other plans for me because when unexpectedly I faced the camera as a 16yr old, I fell in love with with the process of film making. And as we all know the rest is history. It was an extremely painful decision for me as a 16yr old to let go of my dream of becoming a space scientist and joining NASA. It definitely bothered me for few years but as my love for film making grew I made peace with my love for physics and mathematics. As a director I still have to deal with “stars” albeit a little bit different ones😁 Follow your heart always and work hard and sincerely and I personally guarantee you that success and happiness will be yours!
