Story:

Karthik (Nitin) is an independent software engineer, who lives life on his own terms. During his friend Pandu’s (Ali) wedding party, he sees Shruthi (Isha Talwar) and falls in love with her. He tries to get her phone number through Pandu and start calling. But it is a wrong the number, which belongs Shravani (Nithya Menen). Karthik and Shravani start their romance over the phone. What happens when they come to know about the mix up will form the rest of the movie.

Performances:

Nitin is the showman in the movie Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde. As a software engineer, he looks super-cool and rocking. He has shown lot of ease in comedy, dance and action scenes. His dialogue delivery is also impressive.

Nithya’s character has the hero in a spin and it has multiple shades. She has done justice to it with her brilliant performance. She looks quite natural and fluent in her acting, body language and dialogue delivery. Her chemistry with Nitin is one of the main attractions in the movie and it is much better that in Ishq.

Isha Talwar has less screen presence when compared to Nithya. But her character is very crucial for Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, which helps to maintain the curiosity among viewers. She has done well in the film and she is also a great dancer.

Much hyped presence of Jwala Gutta is no good for the film and some might really feel like irritated too

Ali’s role was brief but was good and Taghubothu Ramesh rocked in the limited role that he was provided. Rest of the artists has done their job.

Technical Departments:

Anoop Rubens’ music and background score are among the biggest strengths of the film. A couple of his composition are very good to listen. The remix version of Pawan Kalyan’s song Nee Manase is one of the main attraction in music department. It is sure to get lot of whistles and claps in theatres.

Cinematographer Andrew has done brilliant picturisation especially in song sequences. Comedy scenes are biggest strength of the film and Vijay has penned some best funny one-liner. Other technical departments like art direction, costumes, makeup and editing are also commendable and surely add to the beauty of the film.

Analysis:

Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde starts in entertainment mode and the hero characterization is revealed even before the tittles are completed. First half of the movie is completely entertaining with some rib-tickling episodes. Though the gay episode looked bit weird, it will go off well with the audience as lot of pun was included. Songs in the first half are good and a special mention to the Tholiprema remix songs.

Nitin danced well for the song and it was good to see the orginal song (Pawan kalyan’s original footage from tholiprema was used) in between.

Interval twist is superb.After a major twist in the story, hero tries to explain about his condition to both the heroines but none of his reasons please them. Karthik thinks that he is a brilliant person and can handle any situation but at the end he will come to know that he was fooled. Tittle song was well choreographed and Karthik’s intense dialogues to Sravani/Bangaram are touching.

Final Word: Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde is perfect film. with best performance from lead actors, comedy quotient and intelligent screenplay make this film a very enjoyable watch.
