Leading Tech Giant To Venture In vehicle Making

Leading American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California, which enjoys a fair share of fans and market in electronic gadgets is said to aim for expanding its reach. The international news organization Reuters claimed that Apple is working on manufacturing an electric passenger vehicle and the vehicle will be launched by 2024. The electric vehicle is said to be developed with “breakthrough battery technology”.

However, Reuters didn’t mention the details like who will be the manufacturing partner for this project and the details of the vehicle’s looks and the driving system of the vehicle. The media reports claimed that Apple has appointed a smaller team to work on the new electric vehicle.

This is not the first time, Apple’s name was linked to vehicle manufacturing efforts. Since 2014, the news has gone the rounds on Apple’s efforts to manufacture its own vehicle. It is also believed that to focus on the new pet project, Apple has fielded a senior vice president of engineering who once worked with Tesla, Inc, an electric car company.
