Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a phone conversation with US rnPresident-elect Joe Biden and congratulated him on his win in the polls.rn The duo discussed various issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic, rnclimate change.

PM Modi took to the microblogging site Twitter rnto announce the news of having a phone conversation. In his tweet, the rnPrime Minister said they reiterated their commitment to the Indo-US rnstrategic partnership.

“Spoke to US President-elect Joe Biden on rnphone to congratulate him. We reiterated our firm commitment to the rnIndo-US strategic partnership and discussed our shared priorities and rnconcerns – the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, and cooperation in thern Indo-Pacific Region, “Modi’s tweet read.

“I also conveyed warm rncongratulations for Vice President-elect Kamala Harris. Her success is arn matter of great pride and inspiration for members of the vibrant rnIndian-American community, who are a tremendous source of strength for rnIndo-US relations,” he added.
